Energy efficiency
Implementation of measures to reduce energy consumption in offices and production sites, such as the adoption of LED lighting systems and optimised production processes;
Logistics optimisation
Reducing transport-related emissions by promoting the use of low-emission vehicles, optimising delivery routes and adopting sustainable transport policies wherever possible;
Waste management and the circular economy
Introduction of practices to reduce, reuse and recycle waste materials, with the aim of minimising the carbon footprint of production;
Involvement of the supply chain
Working with suppliers to reduce the carbon footprint of the entire production chain, by promoting sustainable procurement practices and materials with a low environmental impact.
Purchase of Energy from Renewable Sources
Entering into contracts with suppliers of certified electricity, with a view to maximising the proportion sourced from renewable sources (wind, solar, hydroelectric, biomass);
Energy on the ground: the efficiency of our solar power systems
Alpego’s projects:
- Optimising the use of the existing photovoltaic system on building roofs;
- Installation of new solar panels in suitable areas;
- Prioritising the use of self-generated energy to meet internal industrial needs, thereby reducing dependence on the electricity grid;
- Use of timers to align energy consumption with the periods of peak photovoltaic output, where possible;
The efficiency of our solar power systems
Sustainable paint shop
To reduce the release of hazardous substances, the powder coating plant is equipped with an overspray recycling system: the powder is filtered through a cyclone, which separates the reusable particles from those that are channelled into an abatement system for further filtration before being released into the atmosphere.
Energy performance certification for buildings
By 2025, the company will have completed the Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) for all its properties, thereby reinforcing its commitment to transparency and the monitoring of energy consumption.

We have chosen to produce our ESG Report to provide our partners, customers and employees with a clear and well-documented overview of our operations. Even in the absence of regulatory requirements, we believe that transparency is the cornerstone of any relationship based on trust.
