Innovation and creativity: Alpego’s double success at EIMA 2024
This edition will be remembered above all for two prestigious awards won by Alpego, which underline the company’s commitment not only to research and development, but also to create integrated and ever more digital communication.
The Technical Innovation Award 2024 was given to ALYSIUM, the innovative 3 m electrically driven power harrow, which combines sustainability and advanced performance. This machine represents a breakthrough for agricultural mechanisation, eliminating the use of fossil fuels in favour of a highly efficient electrical system. Presented in the central area of the Quadriportico, ALYSIUM marks the first step towards a new generation of highly sustainable and high-performance agricultural technologies, on which we will continue to work with great attention. Alpego also won the EIMA Social Award – the first contest dedicated to communication on social media – for Best Creativity on Instagram. The jury awarded the original content with the following motivation: for a creative choice that makes the content captivating and memorable, standing out for its originality and capable of engaging in a mix of both professionalism and entertainment. The award highlights the creativity of the content and the ability to use social media to tell the value of the brand and products. The focus is on the one and only Alpego community, that is unique precisely because it is made up of those who, every day, choose our machines.
Product novelties, innovation and technology at the centre
During EIMA 2024, Alpego expanded its range by introducing new agricultural machinery models. These launches stem from a steadfast commitment to combining technical innovation with field functionality, addressing the needs of farmers. The goal is to ensure reliable and consistent performance, even in the most challenging working conditions.
TYSON
Among the key innovations is TYSON, a folding rotary tiller designed for high-power tractors (up to 430 HP) and available in working widths from 5 to 6 meters. Capable of precise operation at a maximum depth of 28 cm, it stands out thanks to Alpego’s patented dual central transmission. Fast, robust, and versatile, it features a rotor with six reinforced blades and can be paired for seeding with Alpego’s ASMAX, ASPRO, and AIRBOOST front hoppers.
AIR BOOST
For seeding and fertilization, the AIR BOOST hopper has been designed with a pressurized distribution system, ideal for high-speed operations over large working widths. Available in 2400 or 3200-liter capacities, it features AVION metering units that enable the simultaneous distribution of up to 3 products. It can be paired with various implements and equipped with one or two distribution heads, including bitube configurations.
DMAX 800 WITH RUBBER ROLLER
Among the folding power harrows, the 8-meter DMAX model was also showcased at the stand. Equipped with redesigned side panels and the patented Twin Force Max mechanics, it is ideal for professional, deep, and extreme tillage, handling power up to 500 HP. The DMAX was presented with the new rubber roller, a combination that ensures maximum performance even on wet and sticky soils.
JET-M ISOBUS
Another innovation is the JET-M ISOBUS pneumatic seed drill, highly regarded in the market and now available in the ISOBUS version. Its advanced electronics enable direct control of all seeding functions from the driver’s seat, ensuring comprehensive and efficient operation management. Compatible with multiple power harrows from the Alpego range, it can be paired with tractors ranging from 85 to 250 HP.
ALPEGO INTELLIGENCE
Alpego has introduced its precision electronics, A.I.GUARD and A.I.MOVE, to the market. These systems enable advanced monitoring and optimization of field operations, reducing operating costs while boosting productivity. Read the full article here.
In addition to these models, Alpego unveiled the DUO RUBBER double-disc seeding bar, the new LOW DISTURBANCE subsoilers shank, and fertilization kits for AFDS hoppers.
